We grabbed the opportunities in the western development,to explore the resources and energy source, to build the railways and roads, to take part in the major construction projects,etc. And did a great job in providing solid evidence and detailed data to such process.
    Since 2001,the lab has taken 304 national and provincial major programs.The total research fee is 143.6319 million RMB，the average fee is 28.72 million RMB.In the recent 5 years, we have participated in 31 programs including the national nature science funding program,the 973 project and the national construction projects (important research plan and important grogram each).The cost of the programs in all is 19.125 million RMB.We hold 57 provincial key programs，the research fund is 42.5332million RMB；we joined 99 major projects,the cost is 60.382 million RMB；24 major prevention projects,the cost reached to 6.8108 million RMB;11 international cooperation programs,the research cost is 3.979million RMB；22 different kinds of the fund cost about 7.25 million RMB.We can tell from the data before,the lab is no longer playing a part as a researcher,it also take responsibility to the nation's projects.

Financing for the lab's programs

    The lab has intend many major projects, such as the Longyang valley hydro-dam,Laxiwa hydro-dam, Lijiaxia hydro-dam, big Liushu etc. in Yellow river,the 3 gorges projects in Changjiang river，Xiangjia dam in golden sand river、ertan dam in Yalong river, Xiaowan in Lancang river, Zipingpu in min river,and some big hydro-projects;Chengdu-Nachong highways,Chengdu-Lezhi highways, Chengdu-Ya'an highways,Ya'an – Panzhihua highways. Dujiangyan-wenchuan highways;The er'lang mountain tunnel, Zhegu mountain tennel,the Chengdu underground project; the Jiuzhai-Huanglong airport,Guizhou-Libo airport, Tibet LInzhi airport,etc. We have gained many profits in these projects.
